Please don't say
practice..because I don't
even like my parents
hearing me perform...I'm
terrified. I experience like shouting.
I used to take singing
lessons, but I used the
soft aspect of my speech, if
you know what I mean.
And I haven't taken them
for a looonnng time but I
still perform under my
breath at house.
Sometimes when I'm
alone I will try to sing
loud, but I don't know
what's right..my voice
cracks and I don't sound
as excellent as when I sing
softer. How do I do this.
Even when I practice
scales it is out of tune
and I don't know how to
project my speech. Please
help

The only SAFE way to
improve is to take face-
to-face training with a
fully-trained vocal
teacher! Please do NOT
rely on any fake web
tutorials because that
way you can
misunderstand things
VERY EASILY and develop
bad routines, hoarseness,
vocal nodules and other
nasties IN NO TIME. It is
always much smarter to
invest a little bit of your
money/time to face-to-
face training rather than
wasting the same
amount of cash (or
even more!) to frequent
ear-nose-throat
specialist trips due to
aforementioned
problems. If you can't
afford music training, then
joining a choir is the only
SAFE substitute choice.
The crackling speech is
ALWAYS a caution sign
of wrong techniques
anyway, so please hurry
up and get yourself a
proper teacher!
